Upgrade of electrical infrastructure to RAAF Edinburgh
Scope of works
The project comprises internal HV electrical infrastructure upgrade works at the Defence Science and Technology (DST) Group facilities at Edinburgh.
The upgrade comprises the following key components:
Replacement of segments of existing 11kV Ring Main No.1 due to the presently installed cable being undersized for the potential loading scenarios on this cable.
Upgrade of existing Transformer Substation T6 from 750kVA to 1,000kVA
Upgrade of existing Transformer Substation T7 from 1,000kVA to 2,000kV.
